John Stuart Bridger, employed as brakeman on a lumber railroad of the Brown Paper mill, died early Tuesday morning from pneumonia. The family residence is at 211 Austin avenue in West Monroe.

Mr. Bridger leaves his widow and two children, Martha Ann and Robert Dixon. He also leaves the following sisters: Mrs. A. D. Butler, Mrs. M. J. Butler and Mrs. J. J. Cuthbert, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. Lena Webb of Dallas, Tex.

The funeral and interment will take place in Shreveport on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be made in Forest Park cemetery. The body will be sent there Tuesday night.
