This is probably William, son of Christopher (#137746134) and Elizabeth (Coit) Leffingwell, b. Sept. 28, 1765; d. Oct 23, 1834, at New Haven; m. (1) Sept. 12, 1786, at New Haven, by Rev. Achilles Mansfield, Sally Maria Beers (dau. of Isaac and Mary (Mansfield) Beers, of New Haven), b. July 13, 1765; d. —-—. He m. (2) Hannah Chester (dau. of Leonard and Sarah (Williams) Chester); children by first marriage.
