MISS MARY NORCROSS IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Carlisle, Feb. 15 -- Miss Mary Jackson Norcross, 63, Sterretts Gap, died last night at the Carlisle Hospital, where she had been a patient since Saturday.
Miss Norcross was the daughter of the Rev. Dr. George and Louise Jackson Norcross, Carlisle. Her father was pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church for more than forty years. Miss Norcross resided here until about twenty years ago, at which time she built a home at Sterretts Gap. She was an active worker in the Second Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Delia Foster, wife of Judge Carl Foster, Bridgeport, Conn.; Mrs. Henry Esterly, Portland, Ore., and Madame Francois Lucas, of France.
Services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at the Second Presbyterian Church at 4 o'clock, the Rev. Dr. Glenn M. Shafer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery, here.
