Homegoing celebration for Ms. Elizabeth "Honky-Tonk" Jordan Gober of Marietta, will be held on Thurs, March 15, 2007 at 2pm from Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. B.J. Lockhart II, Pastor officiating. She will lie in state at the church at 1pm. Interment, Cheatham Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by daughters, Ms. Lou Ella Gober, Ms. Shirley Ann Warbington, Ms. Dorothy Jean Reid and Mrs. Ruby (Bill) Hinton; sons, Mr. George W. Gober, Mr. Sherman Gober, Mr. Jerome Gober; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ms. Sara Phillips, Ms. Dorothy Freeman, Ms. Reba Brackery, Mrs. Nita (Alfred) Boatwright, Ms. Nona E.
