Karen is survived by her loving husband, Ronald of Wakefield; two step-daughters, Debbie Rogers of Council Bluffs, IA, and Denise (Scott) Bowers of Mooresville, NC; two grandsons, Hayden and Logan Bowers; two sisters, Jean Ping of Wayne, NE, and Laurie (Carey) Rhods of Wakefield; and one brother, Gerele (Ruth) Johnson of Wakefield; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. SERVICES for Karen will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 1pm at Salem Lutheran Church in Wakefield. Pastor Darwin Garton will be officiating. VISITATION Wednesday at the Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield from 4-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery in Wakefield, NE. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
