Henry Veenman, son of Adreanus Veenman married Adreana Jane Bomgaars on June 12, 1879. Adreana is listed as an arrival from The Netherlands in 1854 with Arie, Joris, Willem and Marinus Bomgaars.

Adreana Jane and Henry were the parents of:

1. James, married Johanna Brand Oct. 25, 1911[my father];

2. Nell, married Gradus Brand who was my mother's twin brother.

3. Ollie, married Bastiaan Andeweg on Apr. 28, 1904 [They were Roy Andeweg's parents.]

4. Henrietta, married Martin Hoeksema. Henry Veenman died Apr. 13, 1926, at his home at 913 Franklin St. at the age of 73. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery. Adreana Jane died Apr. 24, 1933, and is buried with her husband. They were members of the First Reformed Church.
