Terry Michael Cheser, 62, of the Mooresville Community of Washington County, passed away at 11:05 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at his home after an illness. He was born in Lebanon, Ky. on Oct. 23, 1951, to Randall and Mildred Rowe Cheser. He was a member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church, a 1971 graduate of Washington County High School, a former employee of Armour Food Company and the Washington County Road Department. Preceding him in death was his wife, Pamela Hill Cheser on Sept. 10, 2011 and his father, Randall Cheser on Oct. 19, 2006.

Survivors include, a son, Kevin Michael Cheser and his wife Kristen of Versailles; a step-daughter, Tina Thompson of Springfield; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Mildred Cheser of Springfield; a sister, Margaret Jane Cassetty and her husband, Pat of Springfield and three brothers, Gerald Cheser and his wife, Loraine, Bobby Cheser and his wife, Donna and Lynn Cheser all of Springfield.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Hood, pastor of the Brush Grove Baptist Church, officiating and assisted by Rev. Johnnie R. Bailey, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Terry Cheser, Denny Cheser, Joe Bartley, Terry Thompson, Glenn Fenwick and Bruce Case. Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
