Member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survived by a son and daughter-in-law; a daughter and son-in-law; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by by two brothers, William A. "Bill" Bishop and T.C. Bishop, and by two sisters, Ruby Albertson and Ora Holliday.

Funeral services: Thursday, September 11, 2014, chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Burial: Greenlawn Memorial Park.
