Evelyn Ann O'Neill

Mrs. O'Neill, 81, of Middletown, died Oct. 7 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Long Island, N.Y., prior to moving to Middletown several years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown, where she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the Little Silver Woman's Club, Holmdel 50/50 Club. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward W. O'Neill Sr.; a daughter, Susan O'Neill of Tinton Falls; five sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Lynn O'Neill of Tinton Falls, Robert and Diane O'Neill of Colts Neck, Edward and Kris O'Neill Jr. of Red Bank, Brian and Cindy O'Neill of Plantation, Fla., and Shawn and Karen O'Neill of Middletown; two sisters, Rita Smith of Forked River, and Eileen Hand of Manning, S.C.; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be Oct. 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral gathering will be Oct. 13 at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral liturgy at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Entombment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
