Formerly of St. Louis, passed away at 4:32 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital Emergency Room in Joplin. Born April 1, 1921 in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late William Sebastian Heidenfelder and Mary Ann Busselmann Heidenfelder. She lived in St. Louis most of her lifetime, relocating to Joplin in 2013 to be near her daughter. During World War II she was a "Rosie the Riveter" to support the war effort. She obtained her Registered Nurse credentials and worked for St. John'sMercyHospital in St. Louis. A Roman Catholic, she was a former member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Creve Coeur, MO and currently at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Joplin. On October 22, 1949, she married Robert Henry Hausladen in St. Louis. He preceded her in death July 22, 2010. A brother, Paul Heid and a granddaughter, Lisa Brummet also preceded her. Survivors include her children, Robert Henry Hausladen, Jr. and wife Karen of Louisville, KY, Jeanne Brummet of Joplin, MO, Richard J. Hausladen and wife Shirley of O'Fallon, MO; a brother, Richard Heidenfelder of Florissant, MO; three sisters, Catherine McHugh of Florissant, Donna Paker of Chehalis, WA, Sr. William Ann, SSND of St. Louis, MO; and grandchildren, Robert Hausladen, III and wife Petra, James Hausladen, Lt. Michael Hausladen, USN, David Hausladen, John Brummet and wife Brenda, Rachel Brummet, Laura Reed and husband Steve, Eric Hausladen, Andrew Hausladen and wife Stephanie, Ben Steffen II, and Jessie Rausch and husband Aaron; ten great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
