Mrs. Daisy Elizabeth “Cricket” Thomas, 58 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and Mama.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Daisy Bell Howard; sisters Evelyn Bryson, Betty Worley Howard, Pauline Taylor; and a brother, Ray Howard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Chuck Thomas; daughters and son-in-law, Angela and Ben Haney of Chatsworth, and Mandy Thomas of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Willie and Lee Ingle, Josie and Ricky Flood, Clara Crider; grandchildren, Celestian Thomas and Aiden Haney; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Daisy Elizabeth Thomas will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
