**********
Sutton Josiah Harris Will was the son of John E. (Johannes Jr.) Will 1783-October 19, 1864 and Delilah Henton. John E. Will was 47th Pennsylvania infantry, Company C, and one of the 47 soldiers that died at Cedar Creek battle. (He was 82.) Delilah Henton was the direct descendant of George H. Henton and Persis Boone, the sister of George Boone who came with him to America...the grandparent of the famous Daniel Boone.

Sutton Josiah Harris Will married Sarah A. "Sallie" Wimer on January 16, 1870 in Monterey, Highland County, Virginia. Sallie was the daughter George (of Philip) Wimer and Christina Rexroad. She was the widow of George Wesley Simmons, who died on February 7, 1863 at Camp Washington, Shenandoah Mt., Augusta, Virginia. Sutton raised the Simmons children and also had twins with Sallie, only one that survived. That was Jasper Edwin Will.

Sutton and his blended Simmons/Will family farmed the family land in Blue Grass, Highland County, Virginia after the war, until he (had a stroke?) and became an invalid in 1890. He spent his elder days at the Robert E. Lee Soldier's Home in Richmond, Virginia, where he passed away surrounded by other brave soldiers who at all ages, fought for their homes and what they believed in. (His admitting papers said he was paralyzed.)
