WILLIAM McKINLEY ADAMS was the son of Albert Adams and Mrs. Martha (Fredricks) Adams.

Obituary
"Services for William McKinley Adams will be at noon Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Woodlawn, with Rev. E.J. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of Rambo Funeral Home. Mr. Adams died Sunday, June 23, 1996. He was born August 1, 1933 in Hughes Springs -- the son of Albert Adams and Martha Fredricks Adams. He attended Terrell High School in Denison. He served in the U.S. Navy, and he had retired from Lone Star Steel. He united with Second Pleasant Hill Church after moving to Marshall. Survivors include his wife, Debora Adams; three daughters: Sheryl Peace and son-in-law, James Peace of San Diego, California, Michelle Adams of Marshall, Texas and Deadre Carrol of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one son, William Adams Jr. of San Diego, California; six stepchildren: Donald Ray Green of Longview, Texas, Larry Green, Joyce Getum, Vera Kelley, Towaner Jordan, all of Dallas, Texas, and Vidalia Washington of Marshall, Texas; four sisters: Clara Bush and Ethel Hatten, both of Marshall, Texas, Mrs. Jessie R. Jones of Bossier City, Louisiana, Martha Keys of Phoenix, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Johnnie Bush, Ronald Stancell, Darrell Stancell, Eddie Washington, James Peace and James Green. Honorary pallbearers will be friends of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m."
