Mrs. Rathbun's maiden name was Jane C. Blair, and she was born at Brimfield, Mass., about 62 years ago. With her parents she removed to Verona, where she married Charles Rathbun 35 years ago. They removed to this city about six years ago and this has since been their place of residence. Mrs. Rathbun was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a true Christian woman. During her comparatively brief residence in this city she acquired a wide friendship and her sudden demise will be sincerely mourned.
The survivors are her husband and three sons, Fred G. of Rome, and Frank B. and Walter C. Rathbun of Utica, of the firm of Rathbun & Co., wholesale dealers in dry goods and notions.
