Barbara Nesbit of Pleasant Hill, California, born in Chisolm, Minnesota to Harvey I. Enlund and Frances Enlund. She is predeceased by her husband Jack "Bud" Nesbit, and her daughters Vickie Rae Nesbit and Vallorrie Nesbit-Parker.
She is survived by her children: John Nesbit(Peggy), Leslie Scatena, Jodi Mulder (Eddie), son-in-law, Eric Parker. Grandchildren: Natalie and James(Charlene) Nesbit, Micquela and Taglia Scatena, and Ian Parker. Sisters: Mary "Bette" Stamm and Frances Orilla Horine
A vivacious, outgoing and creative woman, Barbara enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, shopping, traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She maintained many lasting relationships, especially with Betty Chambers of Bakersfield, Ca. Her best friend of 72 years!
She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
At her request, a private burial service will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette and a celebration of her life will be planned for the spring of 2015.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in her name may be sent to Hospice of the East Bay 3470 Buskirk Ave P.H. Ca 94523 or The American Cancer Society .
