On January 10,1952, he married Nita Mae Smith in Huntsville Arkansas. In 1954 Cletis and Nita, packed up their two young children and everything they owned in one car, and moved to the White Salmon Washington area. There they raised all five of their children.
Cletis worked as a millwright for S.D.S and W.K.O. mills. In 1994, after forty years he retired. Cletis and Nita moved to Green Forest Arkansas.
He enjoyed steel head and salmon fishing in his younger years. He always grow a great garden and shared it with everyone. His Roses in Washington state where the must beautiful Roses in town. Along with all his other flowers.
Cletis was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed talking to people about God's kingdom and what it meant to him and others. Cletis endured to the end and will be in Jehovah's memory.( Mathew 24:13)
He was preceded in death by his parents. And two brothers Jerle in 2007 and Kenneth Reeves in 2008,niece Sandra Reeves in 2011.
He is survived by wife Nita Mae and their children, Clesa(Joe) Mahaffey, Aaron (Wendy) Reeves, Darrell Reeves all of Green Forest Ar. Dawain( Laura) Reeves of Gaston OR, and Teresa(Ben) Meeks of Walla Walla WA. Four Brothers Merle Reeves of Husum WA. Donald Reeves of Richland KS. James Reeves of Bella Vista AR. Curtis Reeves of Ottawa KS and two sisters Janet Bouse of Wellsville KS. and Juanita Shay of La Cygne, KS. 12 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
Cletis really enjoyed the times he was able to visit with his cousins, and double cousins, nieces, nephews, Family...
Cletis died of end stage of Alzheimer's.
