She was the daughter of Sylvester Collier Burton and Priscilla Ann Harmon. She married Charles White Harmon in 1918. They were the parents of 14 children. Grandma Clara suffered a stroke and passed away while visiting with her son in Indiana. A short woman in size, but she had a larger than life personality. She loved to tell spooky stories of ghosts and spirits she saw on Snake Creek Rd. in Adair County. She was loved by all that knew her and her stories live on.
