Later the 1900 season, he went to the Philadelphia Phillies and jumped to the Baltimore Orioles in 1901 and the New York Giants in 1902 playing the infield after arm trouble. His last season was in 1904 and went on to take on managerial duties in the International League the following year with the Baltimore Orioles.
