Robert was born January 26, 1941 in Grovertown, IN to Lawrence and Georgie (Hopkins) Harness and lived in the area all of his life.
He is survived by three brothers, Clarence of Argos, Paul (Norma) of Warsaw, and George (Ginny) of Hebron; five nephews; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 12:00 noon (Central Time) in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial will follow at the Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon CT.
