Olive was united in marriage to Louis Baecht May 18, 1904. They farmed near Agenda until retirement and then moved to Belleville. She attended the Mill Creek Friends church and the Belleville Friends church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister and three brothers.
She is survived by: two brothers, Elmer Thompson and wife of Effingham, Kan., Arch Thompson of Agenda; one sister, Martha Brun and husband of Effingham.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wesleyan church, Belleville conducted by the Rev. Richard Mason. Interment was in Belleville cemetery.
