VALLEY - Mr. David C. Tillery, 47, of Valley died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.

Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Revs. Don Rice and Milton West officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Tillery is survived by his mother, Bobbie Tillery of Valley; two aunts, Pat N. White of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mary Sue Gordan of Beulah; an uncle, Arthur L. Norred of Sumter, S. C.; and three cousins, Sandi Powers of Las Vegas, Kim Faharety of Virginia and Rick Norred of Sumter.

Mr. Tillery was born Jan. 16, 1962 in Langdale. He was a member of Fairfax First Christian Church and was an employee of Circle K. Stores.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Fairfax First Christian Church or to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 14 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
