MCDONALD Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Julie Bary McDonald passed away suddenly on July 10, 2014, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on April 7, 1958, in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was 56 years old. She was a graduate of Wolfson Senior High School and attended Florida State College. She was employed by her work family at the Snyder and Schimmel Cardiology Group for over twenty years. She was an active member of the Neptune Baptist Church, where she taught preschool Life Groups. Julie s greatest successes were in the hundreds of relationships she sustained with patients, friends and family. Her greatest passions were her faith in Jesus Christ, her family, friends, and her West Highland terriers. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gene McDonald, her daughter and best friend Jennifer McDonald, her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Karen Bary, nephews Andrew Bary and Logan McDonald, nieces Megan Bary, Katherine Bary, and Emily Bary and many cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Eula Bary. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of Julie s life at 11:00 a.m. at the Neptune Baptist Church, 407 3rd Street, Neptune Beach, Florida, with Dr. Tom Bary officiating. The interment will take place at the Long Branch Cemetery, Maxville Florida.
