Almond Ernest Walkup, 75, died Thursday in Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Jamestown, Ky. the son of Auby Edward and Ida Green Walkup. He was a retired carpenter. Surviving are his wife Clara; four daughters, Mrs. Stella Thomas, Mrs. LaVena Roach and Mrs. Marilyn Nash, Mrs. Jeanette Landis; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Services in Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
