Nathaniel was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Monday, April 21, 1975, son of the late Owen Sheff and the late Launita Green.
Nathaniel was employed by Packer Sanitation; and, leisurely, he enjoyed playing basketball at Fourth and Emerald Streets and at the Camp Curtin YMCA as well as writing poetry. As a confession of his faith, Nathaniel was joined in Christian fellowship with the Cornerstone Church of the Living God.
In Harrisburg, on Saturday, September 6, 2014, Nathaniel completed his earthly journey entering eternal life. Sharing the grief of his sudden passing are three daughters, Teyanna Hosby, Brianna Minter and Leeann Green; one son, Zahir Green, all of Harrisburg; three sisters, Naomi Price and Derricka Clements, both of Houston, Texas, and Launita Green of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Henry Blair of Harrisburg; one grandson, Marcell Gonzalez Jr.; as well as other relatives and friends.
Service will be held Monday, September 15th, at Wallace Funeral Directors with viewing from 5 to 6 p.m.

Harrisburg police have identified the victim of Saturday morning's fatal shooting as Nathaniel O. Green.

The death of the 39-year-old man is the city's ninth homicide this year.

Police Chief Thomas Carter and Detective Ryan Neal confirmed the victim's name Saturday afternoon while at the scene of the shooting — a small church parking lot off Evergreen and Reese streets.
