Brandon Lee Bridges, 19, of Marshall, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 6, 2014, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Brandon was born in Asheville and will be greatly missed by so many. Brandon never knew a stranger and always had a great big smile on his face.
He went to join his grandmother, Ruth Darnell. He attended Erwin High School and graduated from Community High in June.
He is survived by his mother, Crystal Jones McDuffie and husband, Eric; father, David Bridges; and grandparents, Vivian and Ricky Brown, Mitchell Cutshaw and Linda Jones; great grandmothers Betty McElroy and Betty Jones; aunt Tracey Banks; uncles Bo Jones, Ricky Brown, Jr., John Barnes and Uncle Butch, and many cousins but one special one, Skyler Brown.
Brandon will be greatly missed by so many people but the most special people who will miss him the most are his mom and dad and stepfather, Eric McDuffie, Linda and Bo Jones, Ricky Brown, Jr., and Barbara Ballard. Brandon will be greatly missed by Amber Reese and everyone who was a part of his life.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Brockwell officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
