Mrs. H. Gerber Passes Beyond
Mrs. Herman Gerber died Saturday afternoon at the Sacred Heart hospital in Le Mars, where she had been taken a week before in the hope of saving her life. Her death resulted from convulsions caused by kidney disease.
She is survived by her husband and five children, the youngest two years and oldest 14 years. Mrs. Gerber was a land working woman devoted to her children and interested in their schooling and education. For several years she cared for her crippled uncle, Mr. Mc Coy, until his death some months ago. The community feels the keenest sympathy for the bereaved family. The younger children are with their aunt at Remsen for the present.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s church Monday morning followed by interment in Nassau township cemetery.
