Doris Lucille was born in Navarro County, Texas, to the late John Wesley and Mary Pearl Boyd Cagle. She was retired from State National (now Chase) Bank, and was a member of North Beaton Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Parks Christian; sisters: Jewel Olene Moreau, Lena Ione Whiteside, Opal Hoffman, Mary Alyne Higgins, Vestal Viola Harris, Billie Ruth Eaton, and Sue Kessinger; nephews, James L. "Jim" Kesinger, and Raymond Harris; and great-nephew, Shaun Accipiter.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Buddy Eaton, of Corsicana; nieces: Marinelle Kesinger Szenasy, of Granbury, Suzanne Kesinger Wood, of Centralia, Illinois, Barbara Higgins Palos, Betty Harris Gorman, Doris Higgins Boulware, and Linda Hoffman Butler, all of Corsicana, Wanda Harris Norris, of Arlington, Billie Hoffman Adams, of Temple, and Nancy Hoffman Seevers, of Little Elm; and a number of other relatives and friends.
