Madeline Carol Skarupa, passed away on Saturday, September 6. She was born in Carnegie, PA on March 19, 1939. Married for over 50 years to Ronald Andrew Skarupa, she lived in Huntsville for the last 30 years.
Survivors include husband, Ronald Andrew Skarupa, daughters, Valerie Skarupa and boyfriend, Jeff, of Colorado Springs, CO and Leah Benavides and husband, Gus, of Cedar Park, TX; sons, Andrew Skarupa and wife, Beth, of Huntsville, Ron Skarupa of Austin, TX and Tim Skarupa and wife, Heather, of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Alexis, Elena, Nick, Luke, Joseph, Veronica, Anna, Raquel and Flannery; brother, Raymond Steranko and wife, Rose of Carnegie, PA; sister, Diana Anderson of Reseda, CA; and sister-in-law, Diane Lucas of Winston Salem, NC.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the church with Father Michael Mac Mahon officiating. Burial will be 2:45 p.m. Monday at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cure PSP Foundation, 30 East Padonia Road, Suite 201, Tamonium, MD 21093.
