Mr. Michael Edward “Mike” Cagle, age 62, a resident of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born February 11, 1952 in Rockwood, Tennessee to Edward Carmack Cagle and Helen Lorene Adams Cagle.
Mike was a member of the Whites Creek Baptist Church in Rockwood. He was an Ironworker and a member and Past President of the Ironworkers Union Local # 384 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Mike was a unique and kindhearted person.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Strader Cagle; sister Connie Gray; grandparents, Addison & Pauline Adams, and Mack & Pearl Cagle; and several very special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors include Sisters Suzy Cagle Glisson & husband, David of Bradford, TNPenny Norrod & husband, Ricky of Bradford, TN Brother-in law Doug Strader & wife, Emily of Durham, NC Nieces Katie Cagle, Emily Glisson, Angie Bryant, and Tara Strader Nephews Zachary Glisson and David Strader Great Niece Morgan Flowers And several very special Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 8, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary in Rockwood.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood with Bro. William “Bud” Strader officiating.
