Norma Frances Kirk Bowles, 80, of Elliston passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She was born in McComas, W.Va. on March 22, 1934 to the late James Thomas "Watts" Kirk and Willie Lois Bailey Kirk. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Walter Daniel Bowles; sister, Alice Marie "Topsy" Kirk; special nephew, James Franklin King; special niece, Sybil Louise Lambert. She is survived by her beloved son, Thomas Daniel Bowles and wife Rosa; three grandchildren, Sunni Cassell, Thomas Krafft, and Billy Moss; six great-grandchildren, Tori Cassell, Jo Anna and Beth Brammer, Trevor, Tyler, and Abigail Krafft; beloved sister, Janice Womack; sister-in-law, Dorothy Bowles; brother-in-law, Essie Bowles and wife, Phyllis; nephew, Anthony Ingram; great-nephews Ben Lambert and Joshua Ingram. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. McCoy and the people at Blue Ridge Cancer Care, and also the New River Valley Carilion Hospice for care that was given. Funeral services will be conducted atnoon Thursday, September 11, 2014 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg, Va.,
