Susan D. Pinkham, 95, of El Paso, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday (Sept. 5, 2014) at Heritage Health, El Paso.
She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Ross Sherman and Marjorie Pearl Hill Downs. She married Frederick H. “Fred” Pinkham on Oct. 3, 1943 in West Milford, N.J. He died Dec. 12, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lane Wilson.
Surviving is one daughter, Marjorie (Doug) Quiram.
She worked as a department manager for Montgomery Wards for many years. In 1974, she and Fred purchased and operated the Berta Jewelry store in El Paso until her retirement in 1993.
