BERRY, PATRICIA Patricia Droit Berry of East Grand Rapids passed away on July 12, 2014 at Beacon Hill at Eastgate. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Clarence H. Droit, mother, Halma A. Boley, step-father, Sven Andersson and her husband, Paul B. Berry, Jr. She is survived by her son, Edward, daughter-in-law, Gretchen; grandchildren, Andrew and Elizabeth. Patricia was born in Evansville, IN and graduated from Indiana University School of Business where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. After starting married life in Memphis, TN, she moved to East Grand Rapids for the remainder of her life. Patricia was a member of the University Club of Grand Rapids¸ Sideboard Guild at Blodgett Hospital, St. Nicholas Guild at Grace Episcopal Church and Women's City Club. Patricia was a member of the Board of Trustees at both Blodgett Memorial Medical Center and The West Michigan Dental Society. Patricia's remains will rest along Paul at Woodlawn Cemetery after a graveside service for family and friends to be held on July 18, 2014 at 11 AM presided over by Father Stephen Holmgren. The family would like to thank the staff of Beacon Hill, Spectrum Health Blodgett and Spectrum Health Hospice for their wonderful care. The family has designated Grace Episcopal Church or PAWS With A Cause for memorial contributions. The family is being served by:
