JACK R. HARDEN Mr. Harden, age 91, of Riviera Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2003. He was born on Long Island, The Bahamas, son of the late Thomas and Zela Pinder Harden; he was a lifelong resident of Riviera Beach. Mr. Harden was a United States Army veteran of World War II and an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4143, Riviera Beach. He was a Commercial Fisherman by trade. He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Mr. Harden is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Elsie Mae Harden; two sons: Jack F. (wife Sheila) Harden and Thomas R. (wife Jane) Harden, all of Lake Worth, Florida; five grandchildren: Jennifer (husband Frank), Jacqueline (husband Kenneth), Thomas Jr., Jack Jr. (wife Becky) and Christina; ten great-grandchildren: Frank, Corey, Janae, Lauren, Ryan, Monica, Bradley, Destiny, Marvin and Kate; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 P.M., Sunday, July 6 at William N. Howard Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach where funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7 at 10 A.M. with Rev. Larry Richardson, Pastor of Country Estates Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Harden may be made to Country Estates Church of God, 14156 64th Drive North, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 or to a charity or church of your preference.
