Born on August 18, 1907 in Appleton, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Gustave and Mary Reinke. She married Vernon C. Holterman on June 4, 1936.
A lifelong resident of Appleton until 1985. Evelyn held secretarial and bookkeeping posistions with various retail businesses and architectural and legal firms until 1949, when her daughter was born. She was a full time homemaker until 1985 when she was diagnosed with Alzheimers. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, and arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed and spent many happy moments with her grandson Rick.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter Lynn (Tom) Geiger, Merrill; a sister Helen Drall of Winneconne. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon in 1969, seven brothers, a sister and her only grandchild Rick was was killed in a traffic crash at the age of 22.
Funeral services were held on Saturday morning, September 3, 1994 in Merrill. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
