Mrs. Cora Searfoss, 39, wife of William H. Searfoss, died at the family home, 273 Poplar street, died after an illness of complications. A former resident of Ashley, she had resided in this city for six years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Surviving besides her husband are her children, Benjamin, Eva, Albert, Elmer, John, Pearl, Ruby, Pauline, Warren, Annetta, Cora, and Arlington, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Joseph Walters, of Palmerton; her brothers and sister, Charles Bartholamew of Lehighton, Mrs. Edgar Kern, John, and Harry, all of Palmerton. The funeral was held with services in charge of Rev. Otto Mappes, pastor of St. Peter's Luthern Church.
