Joseph J. Bires, of Glastonbury, husband of Catherine (Kovacs) Bires, died Saturday December 29, 1984.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as the auditor of the Franklin Savings Bank, New York City.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert J. Bires of Glastonbury; two sisters, Anna Novak and Margaret Martinek, both of Throop, Pa.; two grandchildren, Todd-Alan Bires and Sharyn Lee, both of Glastonbury.
