Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Monday, March 1, 1943, page 2:
  Alhambra, IL--Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Lindgens of Alhambra township, were held at 2 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, at the family residence. Rev. Robert Kofer had charge of the services, and burial was in the Salem Cemetery.
  Mrs. Lindgens died Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Litchfield Hospital, at the age of 67 years, five months and nine days. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lindgens; two sons, Herman and Alfred, of Alhambra; and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Bauer of Bay City, Mich.; Mrs. Fred Saxson of Clio, Mich.; Mrs. Sophia Dust and Mrs. Gertrude Bauman, both of Detroit, Mich.

Note: Clara arrived in America with her children in 1912, having left Germany in 1911.
