Mrs. Dahnke was born in McColl, S.C., and moved to Hawthorne in 1985. She was retired from the University of Florida.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Interlachen.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Dahnke of Hawthorne; a son, Michael Dahnke of Columbus, Ga.; a brother, Jake Norris of Lumberton, N.C.; and one grandchild.
