William P. Fulmer, 80, of Mogadore, died February 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bonnie (White) Fulmer and son, Mark. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula (Alexander); daughter, Ann Fulmer; grandchildren, Tabitha, Sabrina, Rachel and Alex; extended family, Quinn Li, Nan Chen-Moriari, and Sunil Acharia.Bill graduated from the University of Akron as a civil engineer, and worked as an aeronautical engineer at Goodyear Aerospace.Bill was a practicing Eagle Scout all his life, and was a volunteer at Inventure Place, Hale Farm & Village, NEOUCOM, CVNP-recognition for volunteer hours by the Sec'y. of Interior in 2008.He was a world traveler, including all 50 states, as well as China, New Zealand, Australia, North America, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Portugal. They bicycled through Ireland and England, for five weeks apiece. Bill was also a lifeguard and Ferris Wheel operator at Chippewa Lake Park.A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Akron First Congregational Church, 292 E. Market St., Akron, 44308, with Rev. Gabe Campbell and Duane Angel officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
