Christopher W. Oglesby, 55, Lamar, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005 in Olathe, Kan., after a short illness. He was born Nov. 27, 1949, in Lamar.
He was a life-long Lamar resident, a 1968 graduate of Lamar High School and attended Iantha Baptist Church. He was a trucker who owned and operated Oglesby Trucking for 34 years.
He was married October 21, 1983, in Miami, Oklahoma.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Daniel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clyde Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in Morehead Cemetery, Lamar.
