Martha Jane Eigenbrode, wife of the late William Henry Eigenbrode, died at her home near Rocky Ridge, Frederick County, Md., January 18, at 10:25 p.m., after a long illness of acute dilation of the heart. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Ann Zentmyer Harp, and was the youngest and last surviving member of a family of fourteen children. She was aged 79 years and 18 days, and has been a widow for 40 years. She is survived by one son, Cameran Harp Eigenbrode, with whom she made her home, and a large number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Eigenbrode was a native of Frederick county and has lived at the home where she died for 45 years. She has been a member of the Church of the Brethren at Rocky Ridge for 62 years and was very active in church work as long as her health would permit.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22. Meet at home at 10:30 a.m. with further services at Rocky Ridge Church of the Brethren at 11 o'clock. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
