Mrs. Amelia Kline, widow of Joseph Kline, died this morning at the home of her son, C. Julius Meves, 495 Bowman street, aged 87 years. Mrs. Kline leaves two sons and three daughters. Mrs. Kline sustained a paralytic stroke recently."

Amelia came alone to the United States aboard the steamer Saxonia on 6 May 1870 to New York.
One of the daughters mentioned in the obituary was Auguste Emilie Mewes Bettac, who is also buried in the Mansfield cemetery.
