Mrs. Grace A. Douglas, age 80 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born December 21, 1933 in McCreary Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe Angel and Gladys Duncan Angel. Mrs. Douglas was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter: Kathy Cooper; granddaughters: Shadara Douglas, Jennifer Cooper and Miranda Rae Perry.
She is survived by her husband: Edison (Red) Douglas; 4 children: Marianne Perry, Ona Lewallen and husband Andy of Oneida, Michael Douglas and wife Cindy of Knoxville, and Roger Douglas of Winfield; special daughter-in-law: Sherry Douglas; 11 grandchildren: Jason Perry, Tamera Perry and Anthony Perry, Kris Lewallen and Dru Lewallen, Brooke Terry, Cody Douglas and Billy Douglas, Ronnie Cooper, Dale Cooper and Denton Cooper; many great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Douglas family on Monday, September 8, 2014, from 6 p.m. until time of funeral services at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro.
