Arthur "Bill" Hamilton age 82 went to be with the Lord September 4, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Hamilton was born July 23, 1932 in Bluff City, TN the son of the late Arthur B. Hamilton and Nettie Miller Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton lived all of his life in the Bristol area where he taught and was the Principal of Emmet Elementary School. He also was the chairman of the board at Graham Bible College and was an elder in Belmont Presbyterian Church (Faith Community Church) Mr. Hamilton was a fine Christian man who was much loved and will be sorely missed.
Mr. Hamilton is preceded in death by his sisters: Azelle Malone, Katherine Blevins, Dorothy Honaker, Mary Stewart, and brother: Floyd Hamilton.
He is survived by;
loving wife of 40 years Linda Blevins Hamilton
Sister: Angie Cummins
Sister-in-laws: Salley Hamilton and Annette Hagger
Brother-in-law: Phil Blevins and wife Carlen
Numerous nieces and nephews
The funeral service for Mr. Hamilton will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday September 6, 2014 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Phil Blevins and Rev. Pat Parham officiating and singer Kim Lundin.
The committal service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday September 7, 2014 in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
