Alfred P. "Jack" Balliet Jr., formerly of Egypt, died Oct. 11 in Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex, where he resided for 17 years.
He was an assistant for the former Irene M. Balliet Florist, Egypt. He also worked for the refreshment stand at Egypt Memorial Park, for Good Shepherd Sheltered Workshop, Allentown, assisted in maintenance at Egypt Cemetery, and was a professional optical lens technician.
Born in Egypt, he was a son of the late Alfred P. Sr. and Irene M. (Snyder) Balliet.
He was a life member of Egypt United Church of Christ, Whitehall Township, and a volunteer for its Sunday school program.
He was a member of the Four Leaf Clover Club, Allentown, and a bowler there.
Survivors: Sister, Hannah L. Scheirer of Egypt; nieces, nephew.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Call 12:30-1 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Arrangements, Gilbert Funeral Home, Whitehall.
