WILLIAMS, Winnie B. age 95, of Dayton, went home peacefully August 27, 2014 at Mercy Siena Woods. She was a native of Lowndes County, Alabama. Upon moving to Dayton in 1954, she and her husband became members of Tabernacle Baptist Church and later joined Macedonia Baptist Church in 1962, where she was a faithful member for 52 years until her health began to fail. She worked 10 years at Maria Joseph Living Care Center. Preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Irene Bowie; beloved husband of 59 yrs., Ulysses G. Williams, Sr.; sons, Lee T. and Ulysses G., Jr. Williams; daughter-in-law, Emma J. Williams; sons-in-law, Joseph Williams, Curtis Smith; 1 grandson, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Survived by her sons, Moses (Minnie), Henry (Vanetta), Daniel, Sr. (Regina), John (Brenda), Eli (Judy), Eugene, Jack (Judy); daughters, Ann (John) Graham, Edna (Artis, Sr.) Moore, Theresa (Ronnie) Moreland, Sharon Williams-Smith; daughter-in-law, Leslie Williams; 37 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her beloved Macedonia family and many friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be held 11 am Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 27 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Daniel Williams, Sr. officiating, Dr. Jamison Hunter, Pastor. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation from 9-11 am. Family will receive friends from 10-11 am. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N.
