Rita L. Woods, 84, of Decatur, passed away Monday (Sept. 1, 2014) at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur.
She was born Jan. 5, 1930 in Versailles, the daughter of Charles Randolph and Margie Jane Vandeventer Martin, both deceased. She married Galen Snyder Woods on April 7, 1951 in Versailles. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2008.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Woods; sons, Michael (Ellen) Woods, Eric (Melinda) Woods and Charley (Kim) Woods; brother, Charles Dwayne (Patsy) Martin; sister, Ruth Anne (Jim) Manes; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
