Age 72, of Beaumont, CA, formerly of Riverside, passed away on August 26, 2014. Mark was born April 12, 1942 in the Bronx, NY. Survived by his wife Diane of 48 years; and 2 daughters. Mark Dennis Tepper, 72, of Beaumont, California, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in Banning after a long illness. Mark was born April 12, 1942 in the Bronx, New York to the late Lester and Naomi Tepper.

Mark grew up in the Bronx, New York and then when he was 15, his family moved to East Paterson, New Jersey. Mark graduated from East Paterson High School in 1960.

Mark enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1961 and he was stationed in Chicago, Illinois. He was honorably discharged in 1964.

Most of Mark's adult life was spent working in sales. He sold copy machines, 2-way business radios and various nursery-related products. Fredonia Seed Company of New York transferred Mark to Riverside, California in 1977. Later in life, Mark was a bus driver for Omnitrans and also delivered motor homes all over the United States.

Mark married Diane Gichman in June of 1966 in Livingston, New Jersey. They were happily married for 48 years. They lived in Hackensack, New Jersey and Flanders, New Jersey; then resided in Riverside, California for 27 years before moving to Beaumont, California in 2005, where Mark spent his remaining years.

One of Mark's main interests was motorcycle riding. He and Diane were members of a few motorcycle clubs including Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA). They traveled throughout California and a few other states. For several years during the holidays, Mark dressed up as Santa Claus and along with hundreds of other motorcyclists, brought toys to sick children at the Loma Linda Children's Hospital. Mark and Diane also enjoyed taking cruises to Mexico, Alaska and along the California coast.

Mark volunteered at the March Air Force Base Museum in Riverside, California. He enjoyed his time there so much. He and Diane also shared their love of dogs. They always had at least one dog, sometimes two or as many as three dogs at one time.

Mark is survived by his loving wife Diane Tepper, his daughter Fran (James) Harmon of Montgomery Village, Maryland, his daughter Melissa (James) Meono of Redondo Beach, California and his four grandchildren; Lindsey Harmon, Andre Meono, Aaron Meono and Colby Harmon. Mark is also survived by his sister Leslie Klevens of Margate, Florida, his brother George (Susan) Tepper of Marlboro, New Jersey, his brother-in-law Kenneth Gordon of Newport Beach, California, his Aunt Martha Kleinberg of Commack, New York, his four nephews, their wives and children, his cousins and various other relatives and friends. Mark also leaves behind his two dachshunds Heidi and Mia.

Graveside services Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 1:30pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California. Military honors provided by the U. S. Army.
