JUDITH BUCHANAN
Judith Ann Buchanan, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday evening. She was 73 years old and a long-time resident of Cut and Shoot, Texas.
Judy was born on August 12, 1941 in Conroe, Texas. She is survived by her husband, James Buchanan, daughter and son-in-law, Le'Ann and James Walker, three grandchildren Blayne, Madison, and Logan Walker, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Mike Berry of Conroe, brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Carolyn Musgrove of Conroe, brother and sister-in-law Don and Carol Musgrove of Rock Springs, WY, brother and sister-in-law Dean and Darlyn Musgrove of Conroe, brother and sister-in-law Roy and Mathilda Musgrove of Conroe and numerous nieces and nephews. Judy is preceded in death by her parents E.L. "Babe" and Ida Musgrove and brother William Musgrove. James and Judy were married for over 50 years during which they were blessed with a single child, Le'Ann. She had a passion for cooking and truly loved flowers and gardening. Judy spent much of her life as a leader and member in many local organizations including 4-H and PTO and was among the first City Secretaries of Cut and Shoot, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 5, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors with funeral services on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 10 am in the Metcalf Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Cemetery.
