Genevieve "Gennie" Lovelace Harrison, 91, of Wake Forest, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Hillside Nursing Center.
She was born in Castro County, Texas to the late Irion "Doc" Lovelace and Geneva Savage Lovelace.
Mrs. Harrison was the head nurse for the first neonatal intensive care unit for Shawnee Medical Center in Shawnee, OK and retired after 20+ years of service.
A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, September 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her children, Tom Harrison & wife Gaylene of Oklahoma City, OK, Jim Harrison & wife Dorie of Antioch, IL, Liz Harrison of Louisburg and Lynda Rider & husband Rick of Louisburg; 11 grandchildren and 24 Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Milton Harrison.
